Purchase the 2025 Subaru Outback from Michael's Subaru of Bellevue

Known for its wagon-like body and solid performance, the Subaru Outback is a great pick whether you're after an off-roading or family-friendly crossover. With over six available trims, multiple engine options, and a host of great tech, the Outback is a solid choice and one well worth your time and money, so purchase one from our Bellevue dealership.

What's New?

The new model year sees slight changes to the Limited trim. New upgraded features, such as a power sunroof, an 11.6-inch infotainment screen with navigation, driver attention monitoring, and a system, are available. Also, the optional XT package is available to the Limited trim, giving it access to the more powerful turbocharged 260-hp 2.4-liter engine.

Design

Like many SUVs in the Subaru lineup, the Outback has a wagon-like body, though many interior elements are borrowed from the Legacy sedan. Although higher trims have more upscale features, such as a heated steering wheel, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, and heated rear seats, the base model is still quite accommodating with its heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver's seat. And regardless of the trim you choose, you'll have plenty of space for cargo as there are 33 cubic feet of space behind the second row.

Performance

The same powertrains that powered the Outback last year power the new 2025 model. These include the base 182-hp 2.5-liter and the optional 260-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter. Both engines have all-wheel drive and are mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

As for its fuel economy, the EPA says the base engine gets about 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Meanwhile, the turbocharged version dips in efficiency, with an estimated 23 mpg city and 30 mpg highway.

Technology

When in the cabin, Issaquah drivers can control the model's various features through its two stacked seven-inch touchscreens in the center of the dash. However, by upgrading to a higher trim, a larger 11.6-inch vertically oriented monitor comes standard. The larger monitor features bigger icons and a quicker response time, along with a rotary volume and tuning knob.

Each display offers Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, but amenities like built-in navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless device charging are optional. However, if a solid sound system is what you're after, a 12-speaker audio system is available on the Limited and Touring trims.

Safety

As you're driving down the highways near Snoqualmie or the trails around Mercer Island, you'll be kept safe thanks to Subaru's EyeSight bundle of safety features. With EyeSight, drivers receive forward-collision warnings, automated emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping assist. In higher trims, more advanced driver-aids become available, like blind-spot monitoring and a rear cross-traffic alert system.

Trims

The 2025 Subaru Outback is offered in nine trim levels.

Touring: Offering all the above features while adding onboard navigation, a front-view camera with a 180-degree viewing angle, and a digital rearview mirror.

Wilderness: An off-road-oriented model with the same features as the Premium but with a lifted suspension, a front skid plate, and an upgraded roof rack.
